It's hard to imagine a more serene atmosphere in which to relax and unwind than that of the The Blathwayt. It has recently undergone some major changes the biggest of these changes is the addition of accommodation.

Whether you are just visiting Bath for business or pleasure, spending a day at the races or relaxing on a golfing weekend we make a perfect base to stay.

The guest accommodation is deceptive, as on entering via separate access from the restaurant/bar area you are led up an ordinary set of stairs which opens up to some hidden surprises.

Space is the first thing that strikes you on entering the welcoming hallway. From the hallway you can access each of the bedrooms and the guest lounge which gives a feeling of being home-from-home.

Each room has been lovingly decorated to create a relaxing atmosphere which shouts out comfort – carpets, furnishings, colour schemes and fabrics have all been used to create a luxurious feel to all the rooms.

There are 4 bedrooms in all, each one having its own unique character, but each has certain items in common. All rooms have luxuriously appointed en suite bathrooms. In addition most enjoy lovely views over the surrounding downs, garden and racecourse.

The suites are all named after racecourses associated with horse racing which follows on from the theme of the bar and restaurant downstairs – The Chepstow Room, The Cheltenham Room, The Ascot Room and The Lansdown Room.

Each of the bedrooms and suites truly recreates the ambience and indulgence that is Bath, but with all the latest creature comforts the discerning guest could wish for which makes for a memorable stay.
